Rough budget — supply only
Standard pricing with our 10% discount already applied. Budget estimate only — not a quote and not binding. This is the pole only. Flags, ornaments, lighting, and all other add-ons are available to purchase but are not included in this estimate — once you confirm the pole size you want, we’ll price those for you. Freight, sales tax, foundation, and installation are also not included. Signed & sealed engineering is available for a fee.

Common questions from contractors

What is CSI Section 10 75 00?

Section 10 75 00 is the MasterFormat division covering flagpoles in commercial construction documents. It spells out pole height, material, halyard type, finish, wind load rating, and mounting method. If you have that section in your bid set, paste it into the quote tool above and we’ll read it for you.

How much does a commercial flagpole cost?

Price is driven by three things: height, material, and halyard type. A 25 ft aluminum pole with an external halyard is the economical end of the range. A 50–60 ft internal halyard pole runs several times that. Fiberglass costs more than aluminum at the same height but resists corrosion in coastal and industrial settings.

Internal or external halyard — which do I need?

An external halyard runs the rope outside the shaft to an exposed cleat. It’s cheaper and easier to service. An internal halyard hides the rope inside the pole behind a locking access door, which is why schools, municipal buildings, courthouses, and anything in a public right-of-way are usually specified internal. If your spec says concealed or vandal resistant, it means internal.

Aluminum, fiberglass, or steel?

Aluminum is the default for most commercial work: strong, light, and cost effective, usually satin or anodized finish. Fiberglass won’t corrode, which makes it the pick near saltwater or in chemical environments. Steel shows up on tall poles and heavy wind-load applications where added strength is required.

Do you install, or supply only?

We supply flagpoles anywhere in the country. We also install in Maryland. Outside Maryland our pricing is supply only — most general contractors pair it with their own concrete and site crew, and we’ll provide the foundation requirements to pass along.

Can you match a quote I already have?

Yes — that’s our best price guarantee. Send us a competing quote on an Eder pole and we’ll match or beat it, then handle the order. Use the form below and paste the details in the notes.

Are flags and accessories included in the price?

No — the estimate on this page is for the pole only. Flags, ornaments and finials, lighting, and every other accessory are available to purchase through us, but they aren’t part of the number you see here. Once you confirm which pole size you want, we’ll price the add-ons and include them in your firm quote.

What about signed and sealed engineering?

Many projects require PE-stamped drawings for the pole and foundation in the project’s state. Eder provides signed and sealed engineering for a fee. Mention it when you reach out and we’ll include it in your firm quote.

How fast can you turn a quote around?

The budget estimate on this page is instant. Firm pricing usually comes back the same business day, and we’ll flag lead times up front so they don’t surprise you at submittal.
